Product Details

The Jupiter Profiling Bed with its easy to use electric handset provides comfort at the touch of a button. This multi-functional bed provides stability and flexibility, assisting with a number of individual requirements making it ideal for community use. The Jupiter has a number of different adjustable options available for the client when it comes to determining the bed’s width, height and length, ensuring that the size of the bed is suitable for the client’s needs.

When using standard beds, those with complex needs can find it challenging to reposition or adjust their body in a particular manner to alleviate pain or discomfort, often causing themselves greater stress and pain in doing so. The people caring for them can encounter difficulty themselves in assisting the bed user to reposition or in attempting to alleviate the person’s stress or discomfort will put their own bodies at risk of stress or injury. The Jupiter’s movement options of head up, high/low and knee break, Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg make it effective at moving and handling patients comfortably and without risking the safety of themselves or the carers. The Jupiter’s features allow the patient to change their posture and adjust the height of their head and their legs without any assistance required, improving the quality of life for both the bed user and the people caring for them.

The Jupiter has a weight limit of 25 stone (158 kg). The Jupiter also has a Bariatric version with a weight limit of 80 stone (508 kg).To provide further safety for the user, the Jupiter has a number of optional extras including bed side rails, bumpers, hoops and head and foot boards. These optional features give an added level of security to the client ensuring that they are firmly in the bed and have a minimal risk of injury.

The Jupiter is a highly versatile specialist bed that can cater to specific individual needs improving the quality of care someone receives as well as the level of independence they have in bed through the electric handset. This fully profiling multi-functional bed is suitable for communal use, greatly reducing the costs someone could spend on another bed or on a more significant level of care that would have been required otherwise.
