Centrobed is back at Naidex!

The largest disability and home care event in the UK, Naidex has returned to the NEC Birmingham on November 9th & 10th; Centrobed are attending with our specialist beds and cots including a brand new product.

At Naidex, we will be unveiling a brand new paediatric bed the Caribbean – A Unique Childrens Turning Bed. This exciting new bed will help us accommodate an even larger range people with complex needs with its unique function. This bed can be customized with bright bold colours and fun personalized themes catered to the child’s own interests.

Helping children as they continue to grow and develop, the Quoddy bed has three expandable lengths (60”, 66”, and 72”). The Quoddy is a fully profiling bed with high/low movements as well as trendelenberg and reverse trendelenberg. The Quoddy can come with padding, bumpers and bed rails for extra safety and security.

For giving parents easy access without risking any back strain or injury, the Scotia cot lifts the baby up to the top of the cot at the press of a button. Parents no longer need to stoop to access their child and attend to any needs they might have. The Scotia has a backrest to help any babies who have breathing problems have a more comfortable, less stressful sleep. The Scotia shares the appearance of a traditional cot, blending well within a home or nursery environment with a range of cot surrounds available.

The Nile Leg Lifter is easy to set up and can securely attach onto a range of beds with a wide selection of bracket sizes available. The Nile is straightforward to use with a simple handset and works in virtual silence to not disturb anyone nearby. By using the Nile, people who have leg issues or general balance issues can have better mobility and independence with bed transferring.

The Timor chair bed is ideal for improving the mobility of the client, providing effective care and treatment for bariatric patients and those with tissue viability. The multi-functional Timor is made bespoke to the client’s specific physical measurements ensuring that it will provide comfort, care and facilitate regular movement. The Timor helps facilitate regular movement and greater independence, reducing the size and effect of ulcers and pressure sores.

One of the most versatile specialist beds available, the Arctic turning bed can effectively care for and accommodate the needs of a variety of complex conditions. The Arctic is operated with two easy to understand handsets allowing single-handed care and a decrease in necessary manual handling reducing the risk of injury and overall stress for both client and carer. The Arctic reduces the need for overnight care with the option for automated turning. A parent or carer can program the bed to automatically turn and profile in a way that is best suited for the client, with a large list of turning programs to choose from that can be further customized with specific time intervals to choose from, turning every 15 minutes, 30 minutes or hour.
