That’s a Wrap! What a Year – Looking Back at 2025

As we step into the start of a new year, it feels like the perfect moment to reflect on everything 2025 brought for Centrobed. It has been a busy, challenging, and rewarding year – one that showcased resilience, innovation, and the strength of our community.

Sharing Knowledge Through Webinars

Throughout the year, we continued to replay our popular webinars, Just 4 Kids and Plus Size Management. These sessions allowed us to reach more professionals across the UK, supporting better understanding and confidence in complex care and positioning solutions.

Centrobed Discovery Days – A Huge Success

One of the standout highlights of 2025 was the launch of our Centrobed Discovery Days. The response was fantastic, with strong attendance and valuable feedback. These hands-on days gave clinicians and professionals the opportunity to explore our beds, ask questions, and see first-hand how our solutions support safer care and improved outcomes.

On the Road – Exhibitions Across the UK

We were proud to exhibit at:

• Kidz to Adultz South
• Kidz to Adultz North
• Several OTAC shows along the way
• Action Duchenne Conference

We also attended the Delemza Open Day, engaging with more professionals and raising awareness of the support and solutions we offer. Meeting professionals face to face remains one of the most valuable parts of what we do, and it was great to reconnect, share ideas, and demonstrate our products in person.

A Challenging Summer for the Community

The summer of 2025 was particularly challenging for the community healthcare sector. The closure of NRS Healthcare, a key supplier of community health equipment such as hoists and wheelchairs for local authorities, caused widespread disruption.

Many patients and professionals were impacted, and while local councils worked hard to arrange alternative providers, delays and frustration were unfortunately unavoidable for those with urgent needs. Interim measures were put in place, but the situation highlighted the vital importance of reliable support and timely access to essential equipment. Our thoughts remain with everyone affected during this difficult period.

Centrobed – Still on the Road, Still Supporting You

As ever, Centrobed remained out on the road, supporting professionals across the UK. Our sales representatives Andy and James continued to provide face-to-face support nationwide, while Alice returned to the office to deliver virtual video-call assessments, ensuring uninterrupted access to expert guidance.

Looking Ahead to 2026

We’re entering 2026 with excitement and ambition. On the horizon we have:

• More Discovery Days
• Expanded lunch and learn sessions
• The continuation of our free trial on all our repositioning beds
